Another Coastal Revival Fund option appraisal this time for the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society - The Falmouth Poly - which includes galleries and a cinema. Built in 1835 this grade II* listed hall was the home of the Society whose first invention was the Man Engine -  a simple effective way to raise and lower miners below ground - watch out for the Man Engine in the summer - a 12 metre high puppet touring the World Heritage Site for mining
