Harveys Foundry, Hayle, Cornwall

Renovation and conversion of two derelict listed foundry buildings for the Harveys Foundry Trust. These buildings have just the stone walls standing and their renovation is centred on providing unique workspace units. The project is currently completing its funding development stage with plans to tender the scheme in 2015.

The quantity surveying and project management role has included assistance in the formation of the design team, programming and bid support for both the ERDF and Heritage Lottery Heritage Entreprise Scheme grant applications.

An ambitious scheme - a worthy challenge to breathe new life into heritage at risk.
